Camden

Kevin's time in Maine is winding down and we're trying to make the most of it. Last night we had an amazing thunder and light show with lots of steady rain. It all cleared up by morning making for a good day to sightsee. First order though was baking up a batch of cinnamon buns.
That was all wrapped up by 1pm so we set out for Camden. This is a very busy, very touristy, very nice town. We strolled up and down the main street, went into a few shops then found a nice waterfront resto for dinner.
This was the view. There were 6 or 7 kayaks coming in from an expedition. Sailing class was going on in the harbour with several small boats. A large 5 masted schooler, The Olud, was returning from a 4 hour lunch time sail. Gorgeous.
These are some of the sights around Camden Town.
In honour of the civil war dead, I believe.
 A little gift store.
The main drag - traffic is horrible.
The main drag for non-wheeled vehicles.
