The second trip to B.C. is underway

The next round of adventures has begun. Kevin and I have flown to Edmonton, then driven to British Columbia where I will manage a bed and breakfast for the summer.  While in Edmonton we had a lovely dinner with Devon and Debra, and reconnected with friends with met in pre-natal class when I was pregnant with Devon 30 years . We had some time on Tuesday so we wandered around. Here are some pictures of the gardens.

Wednesday we left Edmonton in the rain, and it rained almost to Clearwater B.C. We took a trip into Wells Gray Provincial Park and saw 3 of the most famous waterfalls.

Then, also in the park, we checked into the Trophy Mountain Buffalo Ranch. We feasted on rib eye of bison with sauteed mushrooms while watching the grazing herd. They have about 6 adults and 5 calves. It was a lovely, sunny evening and dinner on the patio, drinking our own wine and watching the sun set. The live bear trap set in the woods about 50 feet from our room didn't bother me too much!

Thursday we woke up to pouring rain and headed out of Clearwater, heading south to Delta B.C.
where we stop for the night. Dinner is a wonderful Greek restaurant, Taverna Gorgona, in Ladner. Then onto the ferry Friday morning for the 3 hour ride to Salt Spring.
